Nicolae Balcescu Street - is the main street, on which only pedestrians are allowed.

Massive buildings dominate the street, most dating back to the 19 th century.

The only Art Deco building in Sibiu is at the corner of Nicolae Balcescu Street and Union Square, and was raised at the beginning of the 20 th century.
