The Fortress of Sibiu. It is surrounded on all sides by towers and defense walls.

The Fortress was considered for many centuries to be one of the largest in Europe.

The South-Eastern side, where most of the assaults came from, is the best preserved area of the fortification.

The Eastern side is very well preserved and stretches along the Cetatii Street and Coposu Avenue.
